すまあみ　Mural Painter

東京出身。16歳より17年間を北米で過ごす。 NYでファッションライターとして活躍したのち「人を笑顔にする仕事がしたい」とこども部屋のカスタムペインターに転身、 現地のこども部屋や人気キッズショップのウォールペイントを数々手掛けた。 2010年に日本へ帰国し長女日子(にこ)を出産。現在は個人宅の他に、保育施設や公共施設、ファッションストアや百貨店等での作品提供、イベントデザイン等を行っている。また2015年にはファミリアが運営するプリスクールのアート 講師に就任し、こどもの自由な感性によりそったアート教育に従事している。目下夢中な事はエディブルガーデンと、生活にまつわるものを手作りすること。今ある自然を慈しんで生きたいと思っている。

Born in Tokyo 1976 she moved to USA when she was 17 yo. She was a fashion student in FIT then became a fashion writer in NYC. At 27 yo, she felt enough of fashion and wanted to make people smile. So she became a mural painter to make children’s dream room come true. Her career was lifted up after she has painted two popular kids stores, Pomme in Dumbo, and Yoya in West Village. She has custom painted numbers of artistic homes in and around the city. Since 2010, she has returned to her hometown Tokyo with her family, and has extended her work not only for personal homes but also for department stores, fashion shops, and nursery/preschools in all over Japan.
